Meet the Counselor

Hello, 

I was born and raised in RaymondvilIe, Texas, and recently moved from Katy Texas where I lived  for 22 years. I longed to live where I could watch the sun rise again and Rockport has beautiful sunrises.  I am proud to have served in education for 34 years, with 24 of those years as a school guidance counselor. My career began in the classroom, where I spent a decade teaching and building strong foundations with students. That experience helped shape my work as a counselor, where I’ve had the privilege of supporting students' academic growth, emotional well-being, and personal development.  My approach is rooted in empathy, professionalism, and a passion for lifelong learning.

As a school counselor, I strive to create a safe and welcoming space where every student feels heard, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential. I work closely with families, teachers, and administrators to help students navigate challenges, set goals, and build confidence.

This is my first year at Sacred Heart School and what a blessing it has been to work where God needs me.   I am committed to serving this community with care, commitment, and compassion.

I find joy in gardening, sewing, crafting and reading but most of all my three grandchildren.
