Today in computer class, 5th grader, James Hunt, broke the old record of 35 wpm with 90% accuracy by typing 38 wpm with 94% accuracy! Computer teacher, Mr. Randy Barnes, was very happy to see the student do so well so early in the school year. He added, "This could pave the way for James to type as fast as 50 wpm with at least 90% accuracy! That would be terrific!" With keyboarding such an integral part of our lives with technology, SHS is very proud to see its students progressing and utilizing their skills to the max.
