It is our tradition that in the fall, the 1st grade students choose a saint to study. They learn about the life of the saint, what he or she did that was so special, and the feast day when we as Catholics celebrate that person. Then at the Saints Day Mass, these children come to Mass dressed as those saints. It's always a special time as they are recognized at Mass as they help to teach others what they have learned.
