Giving Opportunities to Sacred Heart School

 

Our Sacred Heart School family appreciates the charitable works and gifts of many:  

♥Special Gifts may be sent to the School Office at 213 S. Church Street, Rockport, TX  78382. 

 

♥The School’s Guardian Angel Program consists of participants made up of Sacred Heart Church parishioners and other individuals who value Catholic education and want to help families who cannot afford the regular cost of tuition. These donors give at least $300 per school year to the GA Program. Letters to the participants from the Pastor and Principal are sent at the end of each school year to request funding for the upcoming year. ♥The Sacred Heart Church Gregory Ladies & Gentlemen are those individuals who volunteer at the local resale shop in Rockport named Castaways. Each week the volunteers have several choices of days and times when they can give of themselves and their treasures by working with and donating items for resale at the shop. The School receives all of the proceeds earned by our volunteers at Castaways. When taking items to donate, just tell the person working at the side door that you want your donations to go to Sacred Heart School. Days & times you can volunteer at Castaways are:

           

            --Tuesday mornings 8am-12 Noon: sorting, pricing items

            --Friday afternoons 3:15-5:15 pm: stocking the store with merchandise

            --Saturdays anytime 8:15am-3:30 pm: checking out or helping customers

 

♥Donations for SHS Fundraisers can be brought to the School Office:

--1st Fundraiser: Summer/Fall Giveaway: Donations of $100 or more as prizes for the raffle may be given to the Office by June 30

--2nd Fundraiser: Our Winter Gala is held in January. Donations for the Auctions may be brought to the school in December and early January.

--3rd Fundraiser: BBQ in the Spring: Purchase of tickets at the office is greatly appreciated.
