The Wendell Family Fireworks were awesome, as usual, even though we had some rain going on! For those who are new to our area, the Wendell Family has always been very supportive of our school and parish. Mrs. Jan Wendell formed and led the adult choir of our church for many years. When her husband was diagnosed with cancer, he asked those friends who wanted to help him to rather donate to our school. These days the family of pyrotechnicians who actually set up the fireworks show is a family close to SHS also. Mrs. Ochoa taught in our school for several years and their children some of who are now certified pyrotechnicians like their dad, all attended SHS. Thank you, friends, for the fireworks fun!
