SHS is blessed to have such kind and generous families who always support our efforts to help others. This year's Food Drive, like all the ones we've held throughout the years, will directly benefit many people who live in this area and apply for assistance at the little gray building across the street from our school. So, we are asking our parents to please send any non-perishable canned food starting Monday, October 30. Our drive will be over on Friday, November 10, when we offer these gifts at our Thanksgiving Mass at 8:00am in our church.
Foods desired are: canned meats, canned vegetables and fruits, unbreakable jars of sauce and gravies, boxed meals like pasta, macaroni & cheese, spaghetti, and rice. Our 5th graders will be accepting food at the altar before this Mass so parishioners are welcome to bring them forward at that time.
